Special Activities & Party Schedule

PARTIES

Each Classroom will have several parties during the year .........

*  Fall party (October)

*  Thanksgiving Party  (November)

*  Christmas Party - Jesus' Birthday  (December)

*  Valentine's Party

*  Easter Party

*  End-of-the-Year Party

We ask the parents to sign up for a party at the beginning of the school year.

In addition, birthday parties can be observed during the children's snack time.  (Cookies are suggested rather than cake or cupcakes.  All parties should be kept simple.)

 

MUSIC

Music is a wonderful tool for teaching young children.  Toddlers and up will be exposed weekly to various songs, instruments, and musical experiences.  In addition, the children will perform two musical programs each year:

*  Christmas Program

*  End-of-the-Year Program

 

SHARE DAY

A teacher may designate a specific Share Day/Themed Day for her class and will inform parents of that day.  The children may be asked to bring an item to school to share with the other students.  Please label all items that are brought to school for this day with the child's name.  One very important rule you need to be aware of:  Do not allow your child to bring toy guns, knives, or swords to school.
